Did you know that Volunteering Helps Prevent Alzheimer’s ?
Our logic is that we remember those events that we participate in, so be kind to your brain and help us bring the Come By The Hills Music Festival to life by volunteering for it. We depend on those who love the experience of being involved and of working alongside old and new friends. Whether you can help out for a small or large portion of the event – we welcome all of it.
Come out and help us set up for the weekend. The work on this day is mainly physical in nature as it involves setting up tents and preparing the site. The bonus of working Thursday is that lunch and supper is provided. After a good night’s sleep, breakfast will also be provided between 8 and 9 AM Friday morning.
Friday and Saturday
Two hour long shifts are available for volunteers who will work the gate, either admitting guests or assisting them with camping sites. We also need volunteers to be the environment crew, to take photos, to prepare and oversee the fire for the evening music jam, and to be the stage crew. Also needed are a couple spare volunteers for last minute fill-ins.
This is cleanup day. Sad as it is, all good things come to an end. Help needed includes folding up tables and tents and packing things up for next year. It is a great time to hang out with your festival friends and discuss with them what you enjoyed most about the weekend.
As seen at other festivals and as Dr. Seuss reminds us, “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened!” We’d love to have you join us in helping to make this festival happen.
Volunteers that preregister for a minimum four hours will receive complementary camping.
